Keeping families close with Ronald McDonald House Charities

September 1, 2019

Facing the serious illness of a child is a time of uncertainty and anxiety. That's why Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland & Northwest Indiana (RMHC-CNI) provides a caring and compassionate environment so families can get better together. Families can stay close to their hospitalized child, near the care and resources they need, and in an environment that provides the comforts of home with the support of other families facing similar challenges.

Enabling families to stay close to their hospitalized child supports the child’s health and well-being while saving families more than $9 million in hotel and food costs each year.

“At Eastern, we've found that having a platform to promote RMHC-CNI motivates us everyday. Whether our team members are volunteering their time at a local House, supporting a Ronald McDonald House Charity event, or providing monetary and fundraising support, knowing that we're helping these families is a rewarding experience for our entire Eastern team. After all, we're a family too!”
