Going carbon neutral with Carbonfund.org

Eastern  is committed to fostering awareness within our organization that we have a direct impact on the environment. With that awareness comes responsibility—to do whatever our team can do to minimize our carbon footprint. Within our own organization, Eastern has implemented standards to minimize consumption, limit wastefulness, and bolster efforts to re-purpose resources whenever possible.

We are currently supporting the Envira Amazonia Project. It’s a REDD+ project (Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Degradation) that protects nearly 500,000 acres of tropical rainforest. Funds for this project will help reduce millions of tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent emissions, preserve natural habitat, and benefit indigenous communities.
