CBP Ends IEEPA Duty Collections
February 23, 2026

Effective 12:00 a.m. ET on February 24, 2026, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will discontinue collection of IEEPA tariffs following the Feb. 20 Executive Order, “Ending Certain Tariff Actions.” This change affects duties imposed under IEEPA only and does not impact other tariffs, including those under Section 232 or Section 301. CBP has updated its systems, and all HTSUS numbers related to IEEPA tariffs will be inactive as of February 24.
In addition, a temporary 10% ad valorem import duty under Section 122 of the Trade Act of 1974 will take effect at 12:01 a.m. ET on February 24 for a period of 150 days, following the Supreme Court decision ending IEEPA tariffs.
