The event, hosted at the picturesque Cog Hill Golf & Country Club in Lemont Avenue, aimed to raise funds for the charity's noble causes. For over four decades, the charity has provided unwavering support and a caring environment for families with hospitalized children, allowing them to remain close to their young ones during challenging times.

On June 19th, a truly idyllic sunny day that created a peaceful and delightful atmosphere, Eastern's representatives, Dave Cooper and Kate Burt, wholeheartedly assumed the roles of "Food and Drink Runners" with enthusiasm. Their primary responsibility was to ensure that all participants in the golf tournament stayed hydrated and enjoyed delectable snacks and goodies throughout the various three courses of 18 holes. The atmosphere buzzed with excitement as golfers and supporters gathered, knowing that their efforts would contribute to the charity's vital mission. With prizes, a silent auction, and the camaraderie of the participants, the day proved to be an immense success, raising over $600,000 for the Ronald McDonald House Charities®.
